Venue
All workshop sessions and housing will be arranged in the four star Hotel Riekonlinna in Saariselkä, a classy conference meeting hotel, which has previously hosted for instance an EU foreign minister's meeting.

A map of the hotel and workshop in Europe shows that the location of the workshop is in fact much more to the North than the southernmost tip of Greenland! At this time of year you can experience the "ruska"; when the leaves fall of the trees covering the ground with amazing colours.
Travel information
To get to Saariselkä you should take a flight to Ivalo, from where Saariselkä is only a 30 minute bus-ride away. After every flight there is a bus going from the airport to all the hotels in Saariselkä. Finnair flies from Helsinki to Ivalo twice daily. We recommend for instance these Finnair flights:
